In 2017 I experienced a head injury that has given me concussion like symptoms, one is memory loss, that is one of the drivers for this blog, to record what I may not remember later. Fort Gibraltar is located at 866 St Joseph Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The Hudson's Bay Company built Lower Fort Garry in 1830 after a flood damaged the original fort that was located at the junction of the Red River and Assiniboine Rivers.
