In 2017 I experienced a head injury that has given me concussion like symptoms, one is memory loss, that is one of the drivers for this blog, to record what I may not remember later. The Floodway system was created to divert water from the Red River through a channel network around Winnipeg and neighboring communities, during high flood seasons.
